SYSTEM OF
FILTERPRESS
The definition of a filter press :
In essence, filter presses are devices
that use pressure to separate solids from liquids. They are composed of two
stationary head pieces, a moving pressure piece, and chambers that are created
by recessed chamber plates, plates, and frames positioned between the
stationary and moveable head pieces. Either a mechanical or hydraulic closing
device operates the pressure piece.
Filter cloths are placed over the
plates, acting as filter media in the recessed square surface areas and as
gaskets at the sealing rims. The slurry to be filtered is poured into a number
of cavities created when the filter press is closed.
Under pressure, the filter press is
fed through the inlet flange that is fixed at the head piece.

1) Fully Automatic
Filterpress System with auto cloth washing carrier
The fully
automatic filter press is a fully advanced PLC programmed system with plate
shifter mechanism and cloth washing carrier, increase the filtration time. Automatic filters can be
more cycled per day when compared to other conventional manual type filterpress
systems. It reduces the required man power and eliminating the time spent
scraping plates as it has an inbuilt automatic belt wash. Economical in filtration, high-end degree of
dewatering, more the cycle time per day so more dewatering of feed sludge.
2) Automatic Membrane Filterpress System
(Membrane diaphragm Squeeze type)
The filter
plates which are used in our membrane squeeze filter press and are designed for
unique applications. Using diaphragm/membrane squeeze filter press plates will
give excess removal of Sludge (solid content from Liquid phase and cycle time reduction since the filter cake
formed is more compressed / squeezed.
3) PP Recessed plate Hydraulic operated Filterpress system.
The plate
and frame press are the most fundamental and the conventional type of filter
press. The modern version of a filter press uses plates that have recesses and
are therefore called recessed chamber filter presses. The Configuration of recessed filter press is as the plates hang
on a steel frame. The frames act as clamping holding supporting part, and will
use a hydraulic cylinder and pump to open and close the press. Each plate forms
a recessed area, and when the filter plates are pushed together, these plates
will form a chamber in which solids collect on filter cloths.
4) Semi Automatic Cam shaft Filterpress
System
The
main concept is the filter plates form a
combination of chambers when pushed together. Pressure is applied by a slurry
feed pump where slurry pass into every chambers and retained the filter cake
accumulates within the chamber, and filtrate passes through a filtercloth which
is designed to withstand the pressure.
